This Privacy Policy explains how Incybit (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use: Incybit websites, Incybit Cloud, and apps created by Incybit (including CloudBox).

Quick summary: We collect only what we need to provide the service (accounts, files you upload, and basic device/diagnostic data). We don’t sell your personal information. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.

Scope

This Policy applies to Incybit-operated services and apps, including CloudBox and any other mobile/desktop applications published by Incybit that link to this Policy.

If a specific Incybit app includes additional privacy terms or region-specific notices, those notices supplement this Policy.

Data We Collect

The data we collect depends on which product you use and which features you enable (for example, enabling Camera Uploads).

Permissions (Mobile Apps)

We do not intentionally collect precise location unless a feature explicitly requires it and you grant permission.

How We Use Your Data

Compression & File Processing

Incybit services may process your files to provide lossless compression and efficient storage/transfers. This processing is performed to deliver the core functionality you requested (storing and syncing your content).

How We Share Information

We share information only in these situations:

Third-Party Services (may vary by app)

Some Incybit apps may integrate third-party services (for example, platform sign-in, billing, analytics, or crash reporting). If used, these services may process limited data needed to provide their functionality.

Where Data Is Stored

We store your data only in the United States. CloudBox and Incybit Cloud store your uploaded files and account data in U.S.-based data centers, and we do not store your content outside the USA.

Operational metadata (such as logs needed for security and reliability) is also maintained within U.S.-based systems.

Data Retention

“Delete” may include a short delay for backups/operational queues. We aim to minimize retention and purge when no longer necessary.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Examples include access controls, monitoring for abuse, and encryption in transit (e.g., HTTPS/TLS) where supported.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please use a strong password and keep your device secure.

Your Choices & Rights

Account Deletion

If an Incybit app lets you create an account, you can request that your account be deleted and that we remove associated personal data, subject to limited legal and operational retention requirements (for example, fraud prevention, resolving disputes, or compliance obligations).

If you contact us, include the email used to sign in and the app name (e.g., “CloudBox”) to help us locate the correct account. After deletion, your content is removed from active systems, and may remain for a short time in backups/operational logs before being purged.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when changes took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page, and in some cases we may provide additional notice in-app.
