This Privacy Policy explains how Incybit (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use: Incybit websites, Incybit Cloud, and apps created by Incybit (including CloudBox).
Scope
This Policy applies to Incybit-operated services and apps, including CloudBox and any other mobile/desktop applications published by Incybit that link to this Policy.
- Incybit websites: informational pages and product pages (e.g., incybit.com).
- Incybit Cloud: account services, storage, and compression/decompression workflows.
- CloudBox: file storage features (including optional camera uploads), sharing links, and sync.
Data We Collect
The data we collect depends on which product you use and which features you enable (for example, enabling Camera Uploads).

Permissions (Mobile Apps)
- Photos/Media/Files: used to upload or manage the content you select.
- Camera (optional): used only if you choose to capture and upload photos/videos.
- Network access: required to sync and access cloud features.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: upload, store, compress, restore, sync, preview, and share files you choose.
- Security: authenticate users, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and detect suspicious activity.
- Support: respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer assistance.
- Improve reliability: analyze errors/crashes and performance to make the apps better.
- Billing: confirm subscription status and provide access to paid features.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws and enforce terms.
Compression & File Processing
Incybit services may process your files to provide lossless compression and efficient storage/transfers. This processing is performed to deliver the core functionality you requested (storing and syncing your content).
Where Data Is Stored
We store your data only in the United States. CloudBox and Incybit Cloud store your uploaded files and account data in U.S.-based data centers, and we do not store your content outside the USA.
Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active (and as needed to provide the service).
- Files/content: retained until you delete them, your account is deleted, or as otherwise described in the app.
- Diagnostics: retained for a limited period to troubleshoot and improve reliability (time varies by system and settings).
- Legal: we may retain limited data where required by law or to resolve disputes/enforce agreements.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Examples include access controls, monitoring for abuse, and encryption in transit (e.g., HTTPS/TLS) where supported.
Your Choices & Rights
- Access & update: you can review and update certain account details in-app or via support.
- Delete files: you can delete content you uploaded (subject to operational delays as noted).
- Camera Uploads: you can disable Camera Uploads at any time in app settings (if available).
- Marketing: if we send product emails, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link (where applicable).
- Data requests: you may request access, correction, or deletion depending on your location and applicable law.
Account Deletion
If an Incybit app lets you create an account, you can request that your account be deleted and that we remove associated personal data, subject to limited legal and operational retention requirements (for example, fraud prevention, resolving disputes, or compliance obligations).
- In-app (if available): Settings → Account → Delete account.
- By request: email us at privacy@incybit.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when changes took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page, and in some cases we may provide additional notice in-app.
